TV News: Workshop Feedback

TV News: Workshop Feedback

Today we watched back the video we put together from the workshop the other day and received some feedback.

Feedback Notes:

Consider carefully placement of news ticker so it doesn't cut up presenter.

The audio track that Alex added was a nice touch but needed to fade out after a few seconds.

Cut rather than dissolve when going live or filming news in general.

We walk over to the affected passenger but it would be nice if we could hear from them.

After a statement consider inserting VT of appropriately matching footage. If we quote someone it would be good to hear from them (but this isn't always possible so we should consider how important the quote is).

When filming live, handheld/shoulder camera's often work better than tripods.

This was all useful feedback that we can take forward in to our up coming major project.
